We are excited to announce our 8th and final contestant for STL Square Off Pizza Festival 2019: Tavern on Main. Belleville's premier pizza purveyor and all around bar and grill! Located right on Main Street in Downtown Belleville, they have been serving up pizza, beers, pasta and more for years! A father-son team, Mark and Austin Onstott, they also run T2 Taps and Tapas right next door to Tavern on Main!
Their entry into the competition is going to be the "Italian Stallion": a thin crust pizza covered in tangy red sauce, and topped with all kinds of Italian meats like prosciutto, capicola, locally made Volpi salami, pepperoni, and Italian sausage! Meaty, delicious, and perfectly square! You better come to the festival hungry! You've got 7 other pizza's to taste after all this meat!
Tavern on Main is definitely a pizza destination worth checking out, they even have a daily lunch pizza buffet! But they also feature gourmet Italian pastas, steaks, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, bar favorites, and drinks galore! Yet another reason to visit beautiful and happening Downtown Belleville!
